A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ARCADIA, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING GRANT DEED.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA,
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Arcadia
does hereby accept that certain grant deed, dated June 10, 1958
from Camden Wilshire Company, covering real property in the County
of Los Angeles, State of California, therein more specifically de-
scribed as Parcels 1, 2, 3. 4 and 5, all being portions of the North-
west one quarter of fractional Section IS, Township 1 North, Range
11 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, for the purposes and upon
the conditions respectively therein recited for each parcel.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption

. of this Resolution and shall cause a copy hereof to be recorded, to-
gether with the grant deed herein described, in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was adopted
~ at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arcadia held
, on the 15th day of July , 1958, by the affirmative vote of at
least three Councilmen, to wit:

FOR VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, the undersigned the CAMDEN WILSHIRE COMPANY,
a Nevada corporation, qualified to do and doing business in the State of
California, hereinafter referred to as "Grantor", does hereby grant to
the City of Arcadia, a municipal corporation, located in the County of
Los Angeles, State of California, hereinafter referred to as "Grantee",
the following parcels of land, and easements, subject however, to the
terms and conditions hereinafter set forth:
PARCEL 1:
That portion of the Northwest one quarter of fractional
Section 15, Township 1 North, Range 11 West, San Bernardino
Base and Meridian in the City of Arcadia, described as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Lot 53 of Tract
No. 23145 as per map recorded in Book 631 pages 90
to 92 inclusive of Maps in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County; thence N 320 03' 18" W 260.00 feet;
thence N 00 07' 02" W 502.00 feet; thence N 690 09' 37" E
437.00 feet; thence S 710 04' 33" E 505.00 feet to an angle
point in the northerly line of Lot 45 of said Tract No. 23145;
thence along the northwesterly line of said Tract No. 23145
S 500 25' 19" W 218.04 feet; thence N 390 34' 41" W 30.00
feet; thence S 500 25' 19" W 673.00 feet; thence 5 130 39' 59"
W 174.40 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Parcell above described shall be used by the Grantee solely

reservoir storage, water distribution, and related purposes/, and no~

otherwise, and Grantee shall not place nOr suffer or permit to be placed
on said parcel of land any building of whatsoever kind or nature, except

described Parcell shall be used by Grantee for any purposes other than
those hereinabove specified, then and in that event the aforesaid Parcell
shall immediately revert to Grantor and its successors or assigns, and
shall become vested in the Grantor, its successors and assigns, the same
as if said land had never been conveyed by this Deed.

reserves unto itself however,8~~d its successors
and assigns from said Parcel I, an easement for road purposes of a

maximum width of sixty (60) feet across some portion of the north-
westerly part of said parcel as shall be selected by Grantor, its successors
and assigns, as a means of ingress and egress to and from adjoining pro-
perty now owned by the Grantor; provided, however, that Grantor and
its successors and assigns, shall not place said easement or construct
the same on any part of the northwesterly portion of Parcell which would
in any manner interfer with the use thereof by Grantee for the purposes
herein specified.
PARCEL 2:
Grantor does hereby grant and convey to Grantee that portion
of the Northwest one quarter of fractional Section 15, Township
1 North, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian
in the City of Arcadia, described as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Lot 53 of Tract
No. 23145 as per map recorded in Book 631 pages 90
to 92 inclusive of Maps in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County; thence N 320 03' 18" W 260.00 feet;
thence S 400 51' 07" W 217.29 feet; thence S 470 12' 06" E
315.00 feet to a point in the northwesterly line of Lot 55 of said
Tract No. 23145 distant N 390 52' 00" E, 56.00 feet from-the
most westerly corner of said Lot 55; thence along the north-
westerly line of said Tract No. 23145 N 390 52' 00" E 98.00
feet; thence N 90 28' 38" W 83.95 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Parcel 2 above described shall be used by the Grantee solely
for reservoir storage, water distribution, and related purposes, and not
otherwise, and Grantee shall not place nor suffer or permit to be placed
on said parcel of land any building of whatsoever kind or nature, except
as may be necessary for the maintenance of the water tanks, water distri-
bution, mains and other related water facilities. If at anytime the herein
described Parcel 2 shall be used by Grantee for any purposes other than

the beginning of said last mentioned curve bears S 840 01' 48" E;
thence southeasterly along said curve 218.30 feet; thence tangent
to said curve S 590 10' 30" E. 58.74 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave to the southwest and having a radius of
37.00 feet; thence southerly along said curve 41.37 feet to the
beginning of a curve concave to the northeast and having a
radius of 15.00 feet; thence southeasterly along said curve
18.53 feet to a point in a curve concave to the south and having
a radius of 110.00 feet, a radial line from said point bears
S 240 07' 22" W; thence southeast along said last mentioned
curve 34.61 feet to the Point of Beginning from which a radial
line bears S 420 08' 57" W.
Parcel 3 above described shall be used by the Grantee solely
