Gentlemen:
Mrs. Cleo Sonnenfeld of 1001 South Second Avenue, owner of the property at the
rear of 316-324 E, Huntington Drive, has agreed to sell the property described
below to the City for the sum of $52,800 which has been approved by the Land
Acquisition and Di sposal Committee,
The property is described as follows:
Parcel III
"Lot 4 of Tract No, 5205, 1ll the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles
State of Californ1a, as per map recorded 1n book 54 page 61 of Maps, 1n
the OffIce of the County Recorder of said County,
EXCEPT that portion lying southwesterly of a line parallel and concen-
tric with and distant northeasterly 25 feet measured at r1ght angles or
radially from the 50 foot right of way of the Atchison and Topeka and
Santa Fe Ra11way Company line 1ll deed recorded in book 661 page 198
of Deeds,
ALSO EXCEPT therefrom the northerly 235 feet of said lot, "
It is therefore recommended that the City Council authorize the purchase of the
described property for the sum of $52,800 with the right of the seller to occupy
