Mrs. Margaret E. Gretler, 7007 N. Rosemead Boulevard, San Gabriel, the owner of the properties at 35 and 37 So. Fifth Avenue has agreed to sell the properties to the City for the sum of $29, 000 which is within the appraised value of the properties. The properties are described as follows: That portion of Lot 9 of Tract No. 5205, in the City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 54, Page 61 of Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the easterly line of said Lot 9, distant southerly thereon 400 feet from the northeast corner of said lot; thence southerly along said easterly line 50 feet; thence westerly parallel with the northerly line of said lot; 195.35 feet to a point in the westerly line of said lot that is distant southerly thereon 450 feet from the northwest corner of said lot; thence northerly along said westerly line, 50 feet to a point which bears westerly parallel with said northerly line from the point of beginning; thence easterly parallel with said northerly line, 195.35 feet to the point of beginning. and The south 50 feet of the north 500 feet of Lot 9, in Tract No. 5205, in 'e City of Arcadia, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 54, Page 61 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
