M. in the Conference Room of the Arcadia City Hall. PRESENT: Councilmen Arth, Butterworth, Helms, Considine Rage, and Wayne Harris, Controller ABSENT: None Baldwin Avenue Resurfacing discussed. Account 434-14, 'equipment service division - reduced to $8500,00. Account 434-35 automotive service placed in account 434-16, repair materials - vehicles, which increases this figure to. $14,450.00. r t . Some discussion on conference attendance in this account. During the discussion it was noted that 'should a change in meeting within the category be desired, clearance must be secured from the City Council. Card~.~ith.~ significant insignia will be provided persons attending conferences. RECREATION Explored in detail. Emphasis placed on supervisorial BUDGET personnel at Vista Park for the summer. A petition had __b~en recei~e~ from residents in the area requesting full ,",r,'~ I 'timE!' '~upervisors. The budget as prepared did not include 'leiders;'for Vista and from the record it was determined that many children participate in the program and the need was substantiated. $1085 was included in the budget to cover two supervisors for 1968-69. Letter was also received from Pony League which organization uses Bonita Park. Request was for $150 to be used in lighting. It was the consensus that there are many such leagues within the city and to approve one would be an invitation for others to request this aid. Each councilman projected his thought on supervisors at the local playgrounds. LIBRARY I WATER DEPARTMENT Capital improvement projects discussed at length. Salary of pages explored.
