JUNE 18, 1974
REGULAR MEETING
The Arcadia Community Redevelopment Agency met in regular session
on June l8, 1974 in the Council Chamber of the City Hall,
PRESENT:

Members Helms, Lauber, Saelid, Scott

On MOTION by Member Helms, seconded by Member Lauber and carried
unanimollsly M~nlher GlIb was excused.
The City Manager advised that under the provisions of the Redevelopment
Plan it is necessary to adopt standards for design and development
within six months after approval of the plan; in order to meet this
requirement he recommended that same be adopted.
The City Attorney presented, explained the content and read the title
of Resolution No. ARA-13, entitled: "RESOLUTION OF THE ARCADIA
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ADOPTING DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT CONTROLS,"
It was MOVED by Member Helms, seconded by Member Lauber and carried
on roll call vote as follows that the reading of the full body of
Resolution ARA-13 be WAIVED:

It was MOVED by Member Helms, seconded by Member Lauber and carried on
roll call vote as follows that Resolution ARA-13 be ADOPTED.

It was pointed out by Councilman Saelid that this action is tat~en in
order for the Agency to fulfill its legal obligations within the
established time period. He continued in part that eRA is a question
Council must deal with.that he would rather deal with it on its merits
,
rather than on a technicality. Mayor Scott shared this opinion and
commented that perhaps the time to resolve the matter is when a
question pertinent to the total subject is before Council.
The Agency then ADJOURNED SINE DIE,
