REGULAR MEETING
SEPTEMBER 7, 1976
The Arcadia Redevelopment Agency met in regular session on September 7,
1976 at 9:35 p.m. in the Arcadia City Hall Council Chamber.

Members Gilb, Margett, Parry, Saelid, Lauber

On MOTION by Member Margett, seconded by Member Parry and carried the
minutes of the regular meeting of August 17 were APPROVED. Due to his
absence from said meeting Member Saelid ABSTAIN~D from voting.
In order to consider proposals to lease Arcadia Redevelopment Agency
property at 135-41 Wheeler Avenue a public hearing was scheduled for
September 21 on MOTION by Member Gilb, seconded by Member Margett and
carried. Staff will at that time submit the result of bids to be
received prior to said date.
Some discussion held on the contents of the proposed lease and Member
Saelid stated in part that he did not like to see the Agency building
up the land inventory since the long term goal of the Agency is to sell
the property for an appropriate development but there has been no
decision as to what is an appropriate development in the area.
The Agency received a report on the bids received and the recommendation
fur award of contract for the demolition of buildings at 130 E. Santa
Clara Street. Twelve bids were received and it was MOVED by Member Gilb,
seconded by Member Margett and carried on roll call vote as follows that
the low bid of Richard F. Ullo in the amount of $3,872 be ACCEPTED and
that any irregularities or informalities in the bids or bidding process
be waived and that the Chairman of the Agency be authorized to execute
the contract in form approved by the Agency Counsel; that an appropri-
ation in the amount of $3,872 be approved and that funds for this
payment be made from the proceeds of the sale of a a'portion of the
subject property to Raymond and Norma Link.
