REGULAR MEETING
NOVEMBER 2, 1976
The Arcadia Redevelopment Agency met in regular session on
November 2, 1976 at 9 p.m. in the Arcadia City Hall Council
Chamber.
PRESENT:
ABSENT:
Members Gilb, Margett, Parry, Saelid, Lauber
None
On MOTION by Member Saelid, seconded by Member Margett and carried
unanimously the minutes of the regular meeting of September 21,
1976 were APPROVED.
Continued: Report on proposals to lease Agency-owned property at
135-41 Wheeler Street. It was MOVED by Member Gilb, seconded by
Member Saelid and carried unanimously that this matter be continued
to November 16, 1976. Discussion ensued on the use of this property
and in response to an inquiry by the City Manager as to whether or
not the Agency members would be willing to have this property used
as a storage and impound yard it was the consensus of the members
that it appears that this would be the best use and the only
convenient location for an impound yard. at the present time.
The request of Richard Ullo, demolition contractor for the demolition
at 130 E. Santa Clara, for permission to'assign the contract to G. I.
Engineers, of which he is a partner. This would enable Mr. Ullo to
obtain the necessary insurance coverage to meet specifications. It
was MOVED by Member Gilb, seconded by Member Margett and carried unani-
mously that the request be APPROVED for the assignment of demolition
contractural rights from Richard Ullo to G. I. Engineers, a partnership
of Richard Ullo and Gary Inglett, and that the Agency Executive
Director be authorized to execute a demolition contract and consent
to assignment of the contract in form and content approved by the City
Attorney in conformance with the demolition specifications.
At 9:30 p.m. the meeting adjourned sine die.
