HomeMy WebLinkAboutJUNE 7,1966_2 17:6806 MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA BUDGET STUDY SESSION JUNE 7, 1966 1 The City Council adjourned the Regular Meeting of June 7, 1966 at 9:15 P.M., this date, to reconvene in the Conference Room to continue consideration of the Budget for 1966-67. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Forman at 9:20 P.M. PRESENT: Councilmen Arth, Butterworth, Considine, Rage, Forman None City Manager ABSENT: OTHERS PRESENT: Discussion continued on some of the items which had been carried over: The power steering installation on the fire trucks was approved for inclusion in the Budget. The $1000 donation toward the Tournament of Roses Float was included. The Station Wagon for the Planning Department was omitted. Mayor Forman will direct a letter to the Library Board advising that the budget for the Library must be reduced where it will remain within the 209 provided for in the City Chart er . At 9:45 P.M. Mayor Forman adjourned the meeting in order to enter an executive session for the purpose of reviewing applications for the City Manager's position. The City Manager Pro tempore and the City Clerk were excused and the members of the City Council and Pat Riggs, Secretary to the City Manager, attended the session. 1 At 11:01 P.M., the meeting adjourned and reconvened with Councilman Butterworth acting as City Clerk adjourning the regular meeting to 6:30 A.M.
