has been the procedure for over 12 years and noted the forthcoming
election on the annexation, the municipal election in 1968 and
the property transfer work in connection with the new assessment
roll which starts the latter part of July; that her budget has not
been increased since 1956 either in personnel (except payroll) or
office needs.
The budgets for the Finance, Treasurer, Personnel Departments
were tentatively approved.
When considering the budget for the City Attorney, Mr. Nicklin
observed that he may be compelled to reduce his working hours
as of January 1st.. that he only wanted to alert Council to this
possibility... that he was endeavoring to follow medical advice
in curtailing his activities.
Purchasing and Business License budget tentatively approved.

possibility of having city employees perform the work involved
in re-roofing City Hall building.

departments. Manager will check into the need for four
motorcycle officers.
