The City Attorney advised that he had made a brief inspection of the
bond as submitted by the B B C Corporation and that it was not a
performance bond as required. It was the consensus that efforts
will be made to work out the details with the corporation, such
details to be completed prior to the next regular meeting of the
City Council.
Mayor Considine will appoint a local citizen to the "Salute to City
and County Government Committee" as requested by Governor Reagan.
The Committee is being created to generate interest in home rule.
/ Various names were touched upon during the discussion. It was
thought that this may be the beginning of an enlarged committee
in the future.
