HomeMy WebLinkAboutMAY 10,1965 16:6535 MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MAY 10, 1965 The City Council met in adjourned regular session on May 10, 1965 at 7:30 P.M. in the Conference Room of the Arcadia City Hall, for the primary purpose of reviewing the preliminary budget as submitted by the City Manager on May 4, 1965. I PRESENT: ABSENT : Councilmen Balser, Considine, Forman, Turner, Reibold None After detailed study of a portion of the budget, the following alterations were made: Account No. City Council 401-31 Description Increase Decrease Independent Cities Ass'n. Conference (deleted) $ $ 200. 421 Police reduction 1 policeman (deleted) 500. 3,300. 421-54 1 Breathalyzer -(deleted) (to be purchased from possible savings in funds for blood alcohol tests in Account #421-48) 800. 422-42 Add funds for rental of 1 additional fire hydrant 36. Water 471* Increase charge to Water Department for General Fund Service (increase monthly rent from $100 to $500) f>',800. $4,836. $4,800. *General Fund Revenue Account #3623, Water Department Overhead, to be increased by $4,800. In summary: 1. Net reductions in General Fund expenditures $4,764. I 2. Additional General Fund Revenue made available. 4,800. Total result to be applied against tax rate $9', 56~..
