Request of Group W Cable, Inc" Foothill District, for permission to operate a recreational vehicle, which has been converted into a mobile cable store, on weekdays and weekends, including Sundays. This would be for solicitation purposes. The request was DENIED on MOTION by Councilman Pellegrino, seconded by Councilman Hannah and carried on roll call vote as follows: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Councilmen Dring, Hannah, Pellegrino, Lojeski None Councilman Haltom The request of the three employees' associations (Police Relief, Firefighters and AFSCNE) to hold a family picnic and exclusive use of Wilderness Park on Saturday March 12 from 8 a,m. to 5 p,m" was APPROVED on MOTION by Councilman Dring, seconded by Councilman Pellegrino and carried on roll call vote as follows: AYES: Councilmen Dring, Hannah, Pellegrino, LOjeski ABSENT: Councilman Haltom Discussion on staff report concerning a fire station in the southern part of the City, The Fire Chief explained the response times for paramedics and engine to the area,.. five minutes is average, Councilman Dring MOVED to direct staff to prepare preliminary plans.
