HomeMy WebLinkAboutFEBRUARY 17,1981 (2) CITY COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS ARE TAPE RECORDED AND ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK ,,\ I ROU ~U I ADJOURNMENT 25:0224 MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 17, 1981 The City Council of the City of Arcadia met in an adjourned regular session at 7:00 p.m. in the Arcadia City Hall Conference Room. PRESENT: ABSENT Councilmen Dring, Gilb, Haltom, Saelid, Pellegrino None Agenda items for the regular meeting this date were explored. Items contained in the recent Newsletter were reviewed. During one of these considerations in response to an inquiry from Councilman Dring the Planning Director advised that with regard to the zoning schedule on the redevelopment property the Commission had not been able to come to a meeting of minds and that a meeting is to be held Thursday February 19. He will advise Council of the outcome. Each Commissioner will be called by phone in an endeavor to have as many present as possible. Councilman Dring referred to an item in the Newsletter concerning the proposed self-funded group medical benefit program from the In- dependent Cities Risk Management Authority and it was MOVED by Council- man Dring, seconded by Councilman Gilb and carried On roll call vote as follows that the City participate in the development of the ICRMA Group Medical Benefit Program. AYES NOES ABSENT: Councilmen Dring, Gilb, Haltom, Saelid, Pellegrino None None The Planning Director explained what is needed in a lot split relating to a subdivision agreement at 516 W. Longden Avenue. This will be act- ed upon at the regular meeting this date. Reference was made to a report from the Building Department comparing the staffing of the Building Department of Arcadia with that of Pasa- dena. It was noted that was in response to an inquiry made by Council- man Halton and that the data was being submitted to all Council members. Staff was asked by Councilman Haltom for a brief report on the back- ground of modification requests in connection with property at 75 E. Las Flores. Councilman Dring referred to the report from the independent auditors, Lance, SolI & Lunghard, in which the Finance Department was compliment- ed for the progress made in the City's fixed asset records and said he would like to join in this commendation. With reference to the account- ing requirements in putting the budget on-line the Finance Director said it could be done. At 7:30 p.m. the meeting adjourned sine die.
