CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
APRIL 22, 1981
The City Council met in an adjourned regular session at 6:30 p.m. in
the Arcadia City Hall Conference Room.
PRESENT:
ABSENT :
Councilmen Dring, Haltom, Pellegrino, Gilb
Councilman Saelid
On MOTION by Mayor Gilb, seconded by Councilman Dring and carried
Councilman Saelid was excused. NOTE: COUNCILMAN SAELID ARRIVED
AT 6:50 P.M.
The request for display of a banner at 25 East Huntington Drive
was APPROVED on MOTION by Councilman Dring, seconded by Councilman
Haltom and carried unanimously for a period of 30 days beginning
May 15, 1981.
Council entered a closed session, reconvened and took the following
action:
On MOTION by Councilman Dring, seconded by Councilman Haltom and
carried on roll call vote as follows the claim of Donald O. Law
was APPROVED for $356.48 plus $17.95 per day for car rental -
total not to exceed $425.00.

The Acting City Manager will respond to the inquiry from the San
Gabriel Valley Humane Society concerning the possibility of .enter-
ing into a contract for animal control with the City. The City
Council expressed satisfaction with the services of Los Angeles
County at the present time.
Council entered a Closed Session for the purpose of considering
labor negotiations. Council reconvened and adjourned at 8:30 p.m,
to May 5, 1981 at 7:00 in the Conference Room.
