Tentative maps and final maps are required for all subdivisions that result in five or
more parcels or condominium units. In accordance with Arcadia Municipal Code
Section 9116.3, the City Council shall approve a final map if it conforms to all the
requirements of the subdivision regulations of the Municipal Code and the State
Subdivision Map Act. It is recommended that the City Council approve Final Map No.
71793 for an 11 -unit residential condominium subdivision at 715 S. Old Ranch Road,
Final Map No. 71793 has been reviewed by the Los Angeles County Department of
Public Works and the appropriate City Departments. The map has been found to be in
substantial compliance with the tentative map as conditionally approved by the Planning
Commission on January 10, 2012, and is in compliance with the subdivision regulations
of the Municipal Code and the State Subdivision Map Act.
Final Map No. 71793 is categorically exempt from environmental review pursuant to
Section 15332 of the Guidelines for the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as
an infill development project. The Planning Commission affirmed this finding and
conditionally approved Tentative Map No. 71793 at its regular meeting on January 10,
2012.
