Htg. ~ ~ANNER APPROVED Acapulco APPOINTMENT " ARCADIA ~\V BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION VARIOUS ITEMS ADJOURNMENT I MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA and the ARCADIA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MARCH 16, 1982 The City Council of the City of Arcadia and the Arcadia Redevel- opment Agency met in an adjourned regular session Tuesday, March 16, 1982 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room. PRESENT: Councilmen/Members Dring, Haltom, Pellegrino, Saelid, Gilb ABSENT: None Agenda items to be considered this date in the regular meeting were explored. A Public Hearing scheduled for April 6, 1982 on the proposed Santa Anita Plaza (Ramada Inn) at 130 W. Huntington Drive. This matter will be before the Planning Commission on March 23. The motion to schedule this hearing was made by Councilman Dring, seconded by Coun- cilman Pellegrino and carried unanimously. On MOTION by Councilman Saelid, seconded by Councilman Dring and carri- ed unanimously the request of the Acapulco Restaurant at 220 N. First Avenue for a banner display was APPROVED. On MOTION by Councilman Saelid, seconded by Councilman Haltom and carried on roll call vote as follows Mrs. Gloria L. Alfery, 1771 Vista Del Valle, was appointed to the Arcadia Beautiful Commission for a term ending June 30, 1985. AYES NOES ABSENT: Councilmen Dring, Haltom, Pellegrino, Saelid, Gilb None None The Chief of Police responded to questions concerning manpower and patrol time. Proposed new sign for the In 'N Out Burger at 420 N. Santa Anita Avenue. Problems were discussed with a recent request for locating a dry cleaning establishment at 330 E. Huntington Drive, It was noted that the code doesn't allow such a business unless it would be in con- junction with the proposed hotel for instance. A brochure which the Metropolitan Water District sends out ... A letter will go forward to the District seeking information as to who pays for the publication.
