PRESENT: ABSENT: Councilmen Gi1b, Sae1id, Parry Councilmen Margett, Pellegrino On MOTION by Councilman Gi1b, seconded by Councilman Sae1id and carried unanimously Councilmen Margett and Pellegrino were excused. Staff advised that in connection with Fashion Park hearings on February 16, 1971 the City Council adopted Resolution 4185 es- tablishing regulations which included a requirement for curb and gutter along the west side of Colorado Place adjacent to the owner's property. This work was delayed at the request of the Los Angeles Turf Club in order that it could be included with pavement reconstruction that will be performed by Ca1tran prior to re- linquishment of jurisdiction of Route No. 248 to the City. The agreement outlines responsibility for payment by the City for the construction which will be included in the Ca1trans pavement rehabilitation contract and should be completed during the coming summer and prior to the relinquishment. The Turf Club will be requested to deposit $16,000 specified in the subject agreement for payment of the proposed work, It was MOVED by Councilman Sae1id, seconded by Councilman Gi1b and carried on roll call vote as follows tha~ the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute the Cooperative Agreement between the City and the State of California for joint participation in the construction of the BETTERMENT OF COLORADO STREET, COLORADO PLACE AND HUNTINGTON DRIVE FROM MICHILLINDA AVENUE TO 0.1 Mi E of 5th AVENUE 07204 - 359101 (District Agreement No, 3507). AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Councilmen Gilb, Sae1id, Parry None Councilmen Margett, Pellegrino v On the appeal filed by Elizabeth R. Tesins from the Planning Commission's approval of a modification to allow a recently constructed 6' wood fence to remain 5' from the street side of a corner lot at 740 W. Lemon Avenue. Agenda items for the meeting to convene this evening were explored. v The City Council will meet with the City Council of Sierra Madre on April 12 at 6 p.m. in the Sierra Madre City Hall. ~ Budget meetings were scheduled for April 16 5:30 p.m" May 2 - 5:30 p.m., May 10 - 5:30 - 5 p.m., April 30 - p.m. At 7:30 p,m. the meeting sine die.
