HomeMy WebLinkAboutJULY 17,1979 (2) I "" ~L I ~IIP .iVSP ADJOURNMENT 23:9824a MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING JULY 17, 1979 The City Council of the City of Arcadia, California met in adjourned regular session on July 17, 1979 at 7 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room. PRESENT: ABSENT: Councilmen Gilb, Parry, Pellegrino, Margett Councilman Saelid On MOTION by Councilman Gilb, seconded by Councilman Parry and carried unanimously Councilman Saelid was excused. With reference to a communication from the Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles concerning an allocation of 518 housing units under the Section 8,Moderate Rehabilitation Program, the City Manager will advise the Director of Housing Division that the Housing Assistance Plan has not yet been adopted. Some discussion held on continuing the scheduled July 30 hearing on a redevelopment matter with the American Savings, to August 7. Suresh L. Patel, owner and operator of the Alta-Dena Drive-thru Dairy at 341 E. Foothill Boulevard, asked the City Council for assistance with a problem he is experiencing with adjacent property owner's intention to extend an existing wall between the two properties which would eliminate the present use by his customers of a dedicated alley to the street in Monrovia and which would block off access to his place of business. He submitted a drawing and read a communication in full. Photographs were circulated. Staff will look into the matter which will be placed on the agenda for August 7. At 7:30 p.m. the meeting adjourned sine die.
