CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
MARCH 1, 1977
The City Council of the City of Arcadia, California met in
adjourned regular session on March 1, 1977 at 7 p.m. in the
Arcadia City Hall Conference Room.
PRESENT:

Council Members Gilb, Margett, Parry, Saelid, Lauber

On MOTION by Councilman Gilb, seconded by Councilman Margett and
carried on roll call vote as follows $50 was appropriated for the
Joint Powers Agreement and Program Implementation of the California
Contract Cities Association. This will go toward legal costs and
consultant fees for setting up the Joint Powers Authority as set
forth in the Association's letter of February 24, 1977.

Discussion held on the leasing of City owned property at 230 N,
Second Avenue. This is the property which has been leased to Air
Logistics through January of 1977. Staff to check with another
interes ted party and if not acceptable the offer of Becherer Buick
will be accepted at $200 per month which will probably be only for
a short period of time.
Councilman Parry thanked Council for the expressions of sympathy
extended in the loss of his Father and Mother.
It was noted that Mayor Lauber will sign a communication to all
residents concerning water conservation.
The City Manager explored agenda items for the regular meeting to
convene at 7:30 p.m, this date,
