CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA
ADJOURNED REGUlAR MEETING
MAY 3, 1977
The City Council of the City of Arcadia, California, met in adjourned
regular session on May 3, 1977 at 7 p.m. in the Arcadia City Hall
Conference Room.
PRESENT:
ABSENT:
Council Members Gi1b, Lauber, Margett, Parry,Sae1id
None
On recommendation of the City Manager it was MOVED by Council Member
Gi1b, seconded by Council Member Lauber and carried on roll call vote
as follows that a qualified building inspector be employed on a
temporary basis at the normal salary. It was noted that two building
inspectors are now confined at h'ome or in the hospital and the date
of their return is unknown at this time.

The Water Manager will prepare procedures to be followed by residents
in conserving water. This will be submitted to Council at the May 17
adjourned regular meeting (7 p.m.).
The City Manager explained the status of close-out sales at Fashion Park.
Councilman Gi1b will take up with the League of California Cities, Los
Angeles County Division, the matter of the request of West Covina for
financial assistance in that city's police affiliation court case.
Communication to be directed to Paul Ka1manovitz concerning sharing the
cost of an appraisal for property at the N/E corner of Huntington Drive
and San RafaeL
