PRESENT: ABSENT: Councilmen Ciraulo, Harbicht, Margett and Fasching Councilman Lojeski (Arrived at 6:43 p.m,) On MOTION by Mayor Fasching, seconded by Mayor Pro tem Ciraulo and CARRIED, the absence of Councilman Lojeski was EXCUSED, 0>':'0 _ (r() COMPREHENSIVE The Finance Director presented and briefly explained the June 30, ANNUAl 1992, Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, Staff noted the FINANCIAL audit supporting the report was conducted by the firm of Lance, REPORT SolI and Lunghard. PROJECT OVa - 5""0 CLOSED SESSION 0110 {'fi ADJOURNMENT ATTEST: J Fire Chief Gardner introduced Larry Wolff, principal architect, and Max Medina, project architect, of the firm, Wolff, Lang and Christopher, architects for the design of Fire Station No. 2 construction project. Staff noted that Council approved the concept drawings for the project in March of 1992, and for the past eleven months Mr. Wolff and Mr. Medina have been working on the actual plans and specifications. The final plans have been through the plan check process at the City Building Division and are ready to be put out to bid after approval by the Council and authorization to call for bids. Mr. Medina gave a brief overview of the 12,500 square foot project, noting the construction period is eleven months. Staff added that the architects' final estimate is a little below the orfginal budget estimate and includes construction of the new facility and demolition of the present building. Mr. Wolff commented that the bid process will be open to competitive bids from any general contractor meeting the requirements of the contract documents, who is capable of posting the required bond and has the necessary licenses. The City Manager requested a Closed Session at the conclusion of this meeting. The City Attorney announced that, "the Closed Session is under Section 54956.9(c) of the Government Code", Additional Closed Session information will be announced at the regular meeting this date. At 7:00 p.m. the City Council entered the CLOSED SESSION, RECONVENED and ADJOURNED the Adjourned Regular Meeting sine die at 7:l7 p.m, 2/l6/93
