There will be a budget session on Monday, May 18, 1992 at 6:00
p. m.
The City Attorney will ,bring to the next Council meeting a
resolution supporting the School District's position regarding
the voucher system.
It was the consensus of Council that a $250 reward be
presented to the young lady who reported individuals who were
spraying graffiti at one of the schools. The check will be
presented at the April 7, 1992 Council meeting.
The City Manager requested a CLOSED SESSION.
Mayor Pro ,tern Harbich~ requested a letter be sent to Anthony
R. Fellow~, President, Board of Directors of the Upper San
Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District because he is
spreading the word that the Rodeffer Pit will become a refuse
landfill. In fact it is planned to become an inert landfill.
Apparently he is spreading this misinformation intentionally
so that the El Monte residents will fight anything Arcadia
plans to do with the Rodeffer Pit.
In reply to a question from Councilmember Young, staff replied
that Von's Foothill will replace the trees which were removed
at their parking lot.
