(Entrance Fee) 07<-10," /0 TV FILMING (Ramona Rd./ Sycamore) Nsp EMPLOYEE AWARDS DINNER (Sept.21,1991) FALSE ALARM (Ordinance) CLOSED SESSION \ MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA and the ARCADIA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING JUNE 4, 1991 The City Council and the Arcadia Redevelopment Agency met in an adjourned regular session on Tuesday, June 4, 1991, at 7:00 p.m, in the Conference Room of the City Hall Council Chambers. PRESENT: Councilmembers Ciraulo, Fasching, Harbicht, Young and Gilb ABSENT: None It was MOVED by Councilmember Young, seconded by Councilmember Harbicht and CARRIED to accept with regret the resignation of Lawrence Papay from the Planning Commission, effective July I, 1991. It was MOVED by Councilmember Councilmember Young and CARRIED to resignation of Linda Daggett from Commission. Ciraulo, seconded by accept with regret the the Arcadia Beautiful A request was received from the Highlands Home Owner's Association asking the Council to initiate an entrance fee to Wilderness Park applicable to non-residents of the City. The request to be forwarded to the Recreation Commission for study and report back to the City Council. Council received a request from a TV filming company to extend their filming hours to midnight for four of the eleven days they are filming in the City at the location of Ramona Road and Sycamore. The filming company is in need of additional evening hours to film the nighttime scenes for their TV movie. Mayor Gilb recommended that they be allowed to film to midnight for the four days on condition that all neighbors within a one block radius of the site consent to the extended hours. Mr, Craft, location manager for the filming company, agreed that the required signatures would be obtained from the affected residents. Staff announced that the employee award's dinner will be held Saturday, September 2l, 1991, at the Royal Vista Golf Club in the City of Walnut. Councilmember Fasching suggested that the dinner be held at the new Community Center ,.. if not this year, then next year. The City Manager advised that the false alarm ordinance will be an item on the June 18, 1991 City Council Regular Meeting agenda.
