BUILDING CODE (Restrooms) CLOSED SESSION and ADJOURNMENT ATTEST: MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA and the ARCADIA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY A~JOURNED REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 16, 1986 The City Council and the Arcadia Redevelopment Agency met in an adjourned session at 7:00 p. m., December 16, '1986 in the Arcadia City Hall Conference Room. PRESENT: Counci1members Chandler, Gi1b, Harbicht, Lojeski and Young ABSENT: None A public hearing was scheduled for January 20, 1987 on the appeal filed by John S. Peterson, Attorney on behalf of the Si1vergate Condominiums Homeowners Association, 535 - 585 W. Duarte Road, from the Planning Commission's Resolution No. 1326 granting a conditional use permit for the construction and operation of a 110 room board and care facility at 607 - 611 W. Duarte Road. This date is tentative until confirmed by the staff after consultation with the developers, Goldring, Kest and Associates. On MOTION by Counci1member Gi1b, seconded by Counci1member Lojeski and CARRIED on roll call vote as follows John Sinclair, Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools of Arcadia, was appointed to the vacancy on the Recreation Commission created by the resignation of Don Wells. Mr. Wells' resignation was accepted with regret. Mr. Sinclair's term will be continuous. AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Counci1members Chandler, Gilb, Harbicht, Lojeski and Young None None In response to a question by Counci1member Lojeski, the Planning Director explained that the Building Code requires one restroom for men and one restroom for women. The Planning Director noted that he was acquainted with the facility in question and would follow up on it. Council entered a CLOSED SESSION, reconvened and adjourned sine die at 7:30 p. m.
