MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARCADIA and the ARCADIA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING JULY 1, 1986 The City Council and the Arcadia Redevelopment Agency met in an adjourned session at 7:00 p. m., July 1, 1986 in the Arcadia City Hall Conference Room. PRESENT: Counci1members Gilb, Lojeski and Young A8SENT: Counci1members Chandler and Harbicht On MOTION by Councilmember Gi.lb, seconded by Councilmember Lojeski and CARRIED, Councilmembers-Chandler and Harbicht were EXCUSED. ~ The City Manager circulated material relating to items on the agenda for the regular meeting to convene at 7:30 p. m.: 1. 8id schedule for Maintenance of Traffic Signals, Job No. 591. The bid results are reported as Item No. 7k. 2. Communication from the City Manager concerning the Rodeffer Quarry summarizing, a telephone call he had with the City Manager of El Monte. 3. Communication from Florence Bonessa, 1041 Loganrita, Arcadia, asking that the City legislate against fire- works. 4. Noted a change in the report relating to the award of contract for the Maintenance of Traffic Signals, Job No. 591.... the appropriation should be from Capital Outlay Fund, not the redevelopment .fund. 5. Scheduled a public hearing on an agenda item for July 15. This concerns a proposed 4-unit apartment building at 819 W. Golden West Avenue (Steven and Carol Chan) applicants. Council received and approved a proposed Agreement with the Arcadia Historical Society setting forth conditions for the operation of the Muse\A11. . Scheduled a joint meeting with the Planning Commission for September 30 at 7:00 p. m. Council will review items submitted by the Commission for discussion and will consider adding some items of their own. Denied the request of Trevor G. Hammonds for permission to use the City Seal in a video he is producing on the history of the Los Angeles County Arboretum. Councilmembers Lojeski and Gilb MOVED for this denial respectively and it CARRIED. It was noted by the representative of Sunrise that they will complete the projects before school starts. Expressed appreciation to the City Attorney for the new format of the Code Book.
