Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons with a disability who require a disability related modification or accommodation

You are hereby advised that should you desire to legally challenge in court any action taken by
the Modification Committee regarding any Public Hearing item, you may be limited to raising only
those issues and objections you or someone else raised at the public hearing or in written
correspondence delivered to the Modification Committee at, or prior to, the public hearing.
a. Modification Application No. MC 12 -20 and Single - Family Architectural Design
Review No. SF ADR 12 -04

Applicant: Philip Chan
Architectural Design Review and a Modification to allow a 25' -0" front yard setback in lieu
of a special setback of 35' -0" on Palm Drive for a new 3,116 square -foot, two -story,
single - family residence (AMC Sec. 9320.62.1).
Approved. 3 -0
There is a five working day appeal period. Appeals are to be filed by 5:30 p.m. on
Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
Any writings or documents provided to a majority of the Modification Committee regarding any item on this agenda will
be made available for public inspection in the City Clerk's office located at 240 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, California,
during normal business hours.
b. Modification Application No. MC 13 -03
233 W. Naomi Ave.965 W. Foothill Boulevard
Applicant: Dafna Lahar (Designer)
A Modification to allow a 517 square -foot porte cochere that will be 15' -7" in height in
lieu or the maximum height of 14' -0" (AMC Sec. 9251.2.1). The proposed porte
cochere will be attached to the existing 3,167 square -foot, one -story, single - family
residence.
The Rancho Santa Anita Property Owner's Association's Architectural Design Review
Board has reviewed and approved the architectural design of the proposed addition
and remodel.
Approved, 3 -0
There is a five working day appeal period. Appeals are to be filed by 5:30 p.m. on
Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
PUBLIC COMMENTS (5 minute time limit per person)
Each speaker is limited to five (5) minutes per person, unless waived by the Modification
Committee. Under the Brown Act, the Members are prohibited from discussing or taking action
on any items not listed on the posted agenda.
ADJOURNMENT
The Modification Committee will adjourn this meeting to March 12, 2012, at 7:45 a.m. in the
Council Chambers Conference Room, 240 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia.
