Police Department to use funds allocated from Citizen's Option for Public
Safety-Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Funds (COPS-SLESF) for
the purpose of "Front Line Police Services".

a. Minutes of the January 20 joint City Council/School Board meeting and the approved 5-0
February 2, 1999 Regular meeting.
b. Report and recommendation to approve Final Map No. 52338 for a 14-unit avproved 5-0
residential condominium project at 900 Arcadia Avenue.

c. Report and recommendation to adopt Resolution No. ~99~, A Resolution Adopted 5-0
of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, California, supporting the San
Gabriel Basin Drinking Water Initiative.

d. Report and recommendation to accept all work performed by E.G.N.
Construction, Inc. for the rehabilitation of Live Oak Avenue from EI Monte
Avenue to Santa Anita Avenue; and First Avenue from Colorado Blvd. to
Foothill Blvd.(Job Nos. 1996-97-1 and 1997-98-2) as complete and
authorize final payment of ~26,257.12 to be made in accordance with the
contract documents.
ACTION

e. Report and recommendation to accept a monetary gift of $35,000.00 from Approved 5-0
the Arcadia Public Library Foundation for the purchase of equipment in
the Children's Services Division and audio visual materials for the Adult
and Children's Services Divisions.
f. Report and recommendation to award a contract to Zaino Tennis Approved 5-0
Courts, Inc. in the amount of $64,641.00 for park improvements and
tennis court resurfacing at various locations.

g. Report and recommendation to adopt Resolution No. t99~ A Resolution Adopted 5_0
of the City Council of the City of Arcadia, Califomia, electing to be subject
to Public Employees' Medical and Hospital Care Act only with respect to
unrepresented employees and fixing the employers countribution for
employees and the employer's contribution for annuitants at different amounts.
