Huntington Drive,Arcadia Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act,persons with a disability who require a disability related modification or accommodation in order to participate in a meeting,including auxiliary aids or services,may request such modification or accommodation from Planning Services at 626-574-5423. CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL: Sam Falzone, Chairman Dominic Lazzaretto,Committee Member Jason Kruckeberg,Committee Member PUBLIC COMMENTS(5 minute time limit per person) Each speaker is limited to five (5) minutes per person, unless waived by the Modification Committee. Under the Brown Act, the Members are prohibited from discussing or taking action on any items not listed on the posted agenda. PUBLIC HEARING You are hereby advised that should you desire to legally challenge in court any action taken by the Modification Committee regarding any Public Hearing item, you may be limited to raising only those issues and objections you or someone else raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the Modification Committee at, or prior to, the public hearing. 1. Modification No. MC 14-08 and Administrative Architectural Design Review No. ADMIN ADR 14-27 608 E. Sandra Avenue Applicant: Andy Su, Designer PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant is requesting the following modifications and architectural design review for a new 388.5 square foot, attached two-car garage to the existing 1,704 square foot home. The proposal also includes the conversion of the existing 434 square foot,two-car garage to livable space: a. A Modification to align the new two-car garage with the existing 5'-0"easterly side yard setback in lieu of the 8'-0"requirement(AMC Sec.9252.2.3); b. A Modification to allow the new two-car garage to be 18'-6"wide by 21'-0" long in lieu of 20'-0"wide by 20'-0"long (AMC Sec.9252.2.6);and c. Architectural Design Review approval of the project. ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: Categorically Exempt per Section 15305 of the CEQA Guidelines Class 5 Exemption for the minor alterations in land use limitations. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Conditional Approval APPEAL PERIOD: Ali decisions made by the Modification Committee may be appealed to the Planning Commission within five (5) working days of the decision. Appeals are to be filed by 5:30 p.m.on April 29, 2014. If no appeal is filed, decisions are final. ADJOURNMENT The Modification Committee will adjourn this meeting to May 13, 2014, at 7:45 a.m. in the City Council Chambers Conference Room, 240 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia. Any writings or documents provided to a majonty of the Modfication Committee regarding any kern on this agenda will be made available for public inspection in the CO Clerk's office located at 240 W Huntington Drive,Arcadia, California, dung normal business hours.
