Consideration of the extension of Ordinance No.
1886, applying a moratorium on the granting
of permits for retail uses selling liquor for
off-premise consumption and businesses open
more that 16 hours per day or any time between
12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
URGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 1890 - For Adoption -
extending the moratorium initiated by
Ordinance No. 1886.
2. PUBLIC HEARING
Consideration of a request from the West
Arcadia Business and Professional Association
to include B& B Amusements and Pul-Wall Promo-
tions in an amusement carnival tr~be held as a
shopping center promotional/entertainment
event September 5-12, 1988.

ment requiring a Conditional Use Permit
for retail businesses adjacent to residen-
tially-zoned property selling liquor for
off-premise consumption and retail businesses
selling goods and products to the public
on a walk-in basis, which are open more than
sixteen (16) hours per day, or which are
open to the public any time between 12:00
midnight and 6:00 a.m. This text amendment
will also establish restrictions pertaining
to said retail businesses (PUBLIC HEARING
TO BE SCHEDULED).
