PRESENTATION of the Arcadia Beautiful Awards BRIEF RECESS REGULAR MEETING - 7:30 P.M. 1. ROLL CALL: Agency Members Chandler, Gilb, Lojeski, Young and Harbicht b. MINUTES of the meeting of May 3, 1988 C. Recommendation to purchase 300 -308 E. Huntington Drive (Rentype property). d. ADJOURN to 7:00 p.m., June 7, 1988 ACTION AGENDA 5/17/88 4. RECONVENE CITY COUNCIL ACTION 5. CONSENT ITEMS a. Consideration of an appeal of the Planning Commission's denial of MP 88 -010, overruling the appeal and upholding the Rancho Santa Anita Architectural Review Board's approval of a two - story, 4,600 square -foot house with the condition that the height of the living room be reduced from 14' to 12' to comply with the new regulations at 525 Campesina (Ronald Staebler, appellant - PUBLIC HEARING TO BE SCHEDULED). b. Consideration of proposal to change the fare structure of the Arcadia Dial -A -Ride (PUBLIC HEARING TO BE SCHEDULED). C. Recommendation for award of contract for Improve- ment of Parking Districts I and II - Job No. 640 and 641. d. Recommendation to designate Cotkin, Collins & Franscell as legal.defense counsel for police cases (self- insured liability program). e. Request for approval of renewal of agreement with Liebert, Cassidy and Frierson for Labor Relations Legal Services. f. Proposed water rate increase. 6. CITY MANAGER a. Request for approval of plans and specifications and authorization to call for bids for the reloca- tion of the Arcadia Historical Society Museum Building - Job No. 642. b. Review of proposals for architectural services for the Senior Citizen Center and Recreation Department offices. c. Consideration of disposition of animals for medical research by the County Department of Animal Control. d.
