BACKGROUND Orange Grove Reservoirs 3 and 4 are welded steel reservoirs constructed in 1953. Each reservoir holds 3.5 million gallons of water used to supply water to City of Arcadia water system customers. Recent inspection of these reservoirs identified increased areas of rust on the roof exterior. In order to protect against further deterioration and to avoid costly repairs or damage to the reservoirs, these roofs needed to be cleaned, repaired, and painted with an industrial weatherproof paint.
