NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held. The project includes the
following:
A.CEQA Categorically Exempt Section per Section 15311(a) of the
California Environmental Quality Act – on-premise sign for an
institutional facility;
B.Modification Application No. MC 16-03 and Sign Architectural Design
Review No. SADR 16-07
Project Description: The applicant is requesting the following modifications and sign
design review for one new 6’-0” high by 7’-8” wide, double-sided monument signs with
LED electronic message boards to replace the existing monument sign at 512 W. Duarte
Road (dba Our Savior Lutheran Church):
1.Allow the new monument sign to be illuminated in an R-3, Multiple Family
Residential Zone; and
2.Allow the new monument sign on Duarte Road to be located within 100 feet of a
residentially zoned property.

August 23, 2016 hearing. This notice was mailed by August 11, 2016. The staff report for this project will be available on the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov after 5:30 on
Thursday, August 18, 2016. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and
the approval/denial letter. City Hall will be closed on Friday, August 19, 2016.
