NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and forward a
recommendation to the City Council on the following project:
A. An Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (SCH# 2016101080) has been prepared
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). A Notice of Intent to Adopt the
Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration was circulated for public review from
November 3, 2016 to December 5, 2016 December 8, 2016.
B. Zone Change No. ZC 15-02, Lot Line Adjustment No. LLA 15-03, Conditional Use Permit No.
CUP 15-07, Architectural Design Review No. ADR 15-17, and Protected Tree Encroachment
No. TRE 16-44.
Project Description: A request to change the zoning from Commercial Office (C-O) to General Commercial
(C-G) and to consolidate two lots into one to accommodate a new 2,958 square-foot fast-food restaurant
(Chick Fil-A) with a double drive-through and outdoor seating. The proposed business hours will be from 6:00
a.m. to 12:00 midnight, Monday through Saturday.

December 13, 2016 hearing. A Notice of Intent to adopt the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration was posted at the L.A. County Recorder’s Office, mailed to the property owners
and occupants within a 300-foot radius, and published in the Arcadia Weekly Newspaper on November 3, 2016. Copies of the Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration are on file
and available for public review at Arcadia City Hall at 240 W. Huntington Drive and at the Arcadia Public Library at 20 W. Duarte Road. The staff report for this item will be available on
the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov after 5:30 p.m. on December 8, 2016. For more information you may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions.
