HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice of Pending Decision Notice of Pending Decision TRH 17-06 NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the property owner of the subject property is requesting a Tree Permit for Removing a Healthy Protected Tree. You have the opportunity to comment on this permit prior to the City making a decision on the proper restitution for removing the protected tree as described below: A. A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15304 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for minor alterations to land, such as the removal of a protected tree B. Removal of a Protected Healthy Tree Permit No. TRH 17-06 Project Description: The applicant is requesting the removal of a healthy protected Aleppo Pine (Pinus halepensis) tree. The tree has sustained severe trunk damage and needs to be removed. The tree is located in the street-side yard area along S. Santa Anita Avenue. The large mature tree has a trunk diameter of 22 inches and was in good form, health, and structure. Comment Period: Friday, May 19, 2017, 2017 to Friday, June 2, 2017 at 4:30 PM Project Location: 16-18 S. Under this process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, and the approval/denial letter. City Hall will be closed on Friday, May 26, 2017 and Monday, May 29, 2017 in observance of Memorial Day.
