HomeMy WebLinkAboutPublic Hearing NoticePUBLIC HEARING NOTICE – PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and forward a recommendation to the City Council for the following project. A. Categorical Exemption per Sections 15301 and 15305 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as Existing Facilities and Minor Alterations in Land Use Limitations. B. General Plan Amendment Application No. GPA 17-01 and Zone Change Application No. ZC 17-01. Project Description: A General Plan Amendment and Zone Change is being requested to change the Arcadia General Plan land use designation from Commercial (C) to Low Density Residential (LDR) and the zoning designation of General Commercial (C-G) to Low Density Residential (R-1) for the four properties located at 303, 305, 307, and 309 East Foothill Boulevard. These four properties are located behind a commercial property located along East Foothill Boulevard. Applicants: Vince Law, Yen-Kuang Lee, Tony Ou, and Jing R. Zhong, Property Owners Hearing Date and Time: Tuesday, July, 25, 2017 at 7:00 PM. Place of Hearing: Arcadia City Council Chambers 240 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA 91006 Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so at the public hearing or by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to the Tuesday, July 25, 2017 hearing. This notice was mailed and published on July 13, 2017. The staff report for this item will be available on the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov after 5:30PM on Thursday, July 20, 2017.
