HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice of Pending Decision Notice of Pending Decision - MUP 17-01 and Major AM 17-09 NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the property owner of the subject property is requesting a Minor Use Permit and a Major Administrative Modification to operate an electronic game center with the sales of computer accessories. You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the use of an existing facility, such as the existing tenant space in an existing commercial building. B. Minor Use Permit No. MUP 17-01, and Administrative Modification No. Major AM 17-09 Project Description: A request for a Minor Use Permit to operate an electronic game center with the sales of computer accessories at 31 South First Avenue. The tenant space is located within 1/4 mile of a transit station and is grandfathered for 4 parking spaces. A maximum of 16 gaming stations are proposed, which require 6 parking spaces at this location. A Major Administrative modification is required to allow the business to operate with only the available existing parking. The proposed hours of operation are 12PM -10PM, Monday - Thursday, and 12PM to 12AM Friday - Sunday. Comment Period: July 20, 2017 to August 1, 2017 at 5:30 PM. Under this process, no formal hearing is required, unless a hearing is requested by any interested person before the end of the comment period. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter. City Hall will be closed on July 21, 2017.
