You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) related to the use of existing facilities. B. Major Administrative Modification No. Major AM 17-10 Project Description: A request for a Major Administrative Modification to allow a proposed 1,600 square-foot dental office to operate in a space previously occupied by a retail sales business, without the additional required parking for such use. The proposed dental office is located in a multi-tenant commercial building served by 37 parking spaces, whereas the change in use from retail to medical office for this tenant space would require two additional parking spaces. Under this process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter. City Hall will be closed on August 4, 2017.
