You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Sections 15301 and 15305 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for an existing facilities and minor adjustments to the setbacks. B. Administrative Major Modification No. AM Major 17-13 Project Description: The Applicant is proposing to enclose a breezeway between the residence and the street facing garage and extend the rear portion of the building. The 188 square foot addition will require a modification for the side yard setback of 6’-0”,whereas 10’-0” is required and rear yard setback of 23’-7”, whereas 35’-0” is required. Additionally, the new air conditioning condensers will encroach into the required 35’-0” setback by 2’-0”. The addition was approved by the Rancho Santa Anita Residents’ Association Architectural Review Board. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter.
