The project includes the following: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) – Existing Facilities B. Planning Commission Administrative Modification No. PC AM 17-29 Project Description: An Administrative Modification request to convert 573 square feet of existing attic space into livable area and maintain the existing second story side yard setback of 5’-0” whereas 19’-0” is required. The Highlands Homeowners’ Association has reviewed and approved the proposed addition. Applicant: Alan Brookman, Architect Hearing Date and Time: Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Place of Hearing: Arcadia City Council Chambers 240 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA  Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so at the public hearing or by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to the January 9, 2018, hearing. This notice was mailed and published on December 28, 2017. The staff report for this project will be available on the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov after 5:30 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2018. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/ noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the eventual approval/denial letter.
