The project includes the following: A. A Categorical Exemption from CEQA Pursuant to Section 15301(a) of the CEQA Guidelines pertaining to the use of an existing facility; and B. Amendment to Conditional Use Permit Application No. CUP 09-15 Project Description: A request to revise the existing Conditional Use Permit (CUP 09-15) for Sonata Room, a 3,200 sq. ft. dance studio with a 1,400 square foot dance floor at 210 N. First Avenue, and to extend the hours of operation and increase the maximum number of students. The proposed operating hours and maximum number of students are as follows: Monday—Thursday: 10 a.m.—7 p.m. (10 students); 7 p.m.—11 p.m. (50 students) Friday: 10 a.m.—7 p.m. (10 students); 7 p.m.—1 a.m. (120 students) Saturday: 11 a.m.—3 p.m. (50 students); 3 p.m.—7 p.m. (10 students); 7 p.m.—1 a.m. (120 students) Sunday: 12 p.m.—5 p.m. (50 students); 7 p.m.—12 a.m. (120 students) Applicant: Laura Powell & Brandon Kwae, Business Owners Hearing Date and Time: Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Place of Hearing: Arcadia City Council Chambers 240 W.
