HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice of Pending Decision Notice of Pending Decision - MUP 18-02 NOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that a tenant of the subject property is requesting a Minor Use Permit to operate a tutoring center. You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the use of an existing facility, such as the existing tenant space in an existing commercial building; and B. Minor Use Permit No. MUP 18-02 Project Description: A request for a Minor Use Permit to operate a full tutoring center (d.b.a. Play to Learn Studio) for children up to 10 years old within a 2,574 square foot unit at the Westfield Santa Anita Mall. The proposed business hours are from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday and 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Sunday. Box 60021 Arcadia, CA 91066 Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to June 25, 2018 at 5:30 PM. Under this process, no formal hearing is required, unless a hearing is requested by any interested person before the end of the comment period. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit w ritten comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter. City Hall will be closed on June 22, 2018.
