HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice of Pending DecisionNOTICE OF PENDING DECISION IS HEREBY GIVEN that the property owner of the subject property is proposing to construct a 260 square foot second-story addition to an existing 5,248 square foot two-story residence and convert an existing 312 square foot guest house into a pool house that is subject to the City’s Single Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the pro-ject described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301(e)(1) from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) as an addition to an existing structure; and B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 18-11 Project Description: A new 260 square foot second-story addition, consisting of converting an existing balcony into living area, located at the rear of an existing 5,248 square foot two-story residence and convert an existing 312 square foot one-story guest house into a pool house. Lot Size: 19,552 square feet Existing Building Size (excluding the garage & guest house): 5,248 square feet New Building Size (excluding the garage & pool house): 5,508 square feet Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 6,472 square feet and 33% Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 7,865 square feet and 45% Comment Period: Friday, June 15, 2018 to Monday, June 25, 2018 by 5:30 PM Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to June 25, 2018 . Under this process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter.
