You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the use of an existing facility, such as the existing tenant space in an existing commercial building; and B. Minor Use Permit No. MUP 18-01 Project Description: A request for a Minor Use Permit to operate a family martial arts academy (d.b.a. Jiujitsu Team America) for up to 12 students in a 2,200 square foot space in an existing commercial building located at 46 E. Live Oak Avenue. The proposed business hours consist of the following: ● Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. & 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ● Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ● Sunday: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Comment Period: June 26, 2018 to July 10, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. Project Location: 46 E. Under this process, no formal hearing is required, unless a hearing is requested by any interested person before the end of t he comment period. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notifie d of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter.
