You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Sections 15301 and 15305 from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for an existing facilities and minor adjustments to the setbacks. B. Administrative Major Modification No. MAJOR AM 18-10. Project Description: The applicant is proposing to convert an existing 400 square foot detached 2-car garage into an accessory structure. A Modification is requested to allow and existing 3’-6” northerly side yard setback in lieu of the required 9 feet for a new accessory structure. The property has an existing attached two-car garage that meets the parking requirement for the R-1 zone. Lot Size: 13,455 sq. ft. Building Size (excluding the garage): 1,883 sq. ft. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter.
