You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15061(b)(3) the removal of a protected tree would not adversely change the environment. B. Healthy Protected Tree Removal Permit No. TRH 18-15 Project Description: The applicant is requesting to legalize the removal a healthy, protected, Coast Redwood tree that was located in the street side yard area and removed without obtaining a permit. The applicant is also requesting to legalize the topping and significant limb removal of a Western Sycamore tree that is located within the street side yard. The Santa Anita Oaks Association Architectural Review Board is aware of the tree removal and tree topping. Under this process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter.
