Your Action Required to Continue Electric Service
INSTALLED SERVICE ACCT#4-004186178
Dear Valued Customer,
Southern California Edison Company(SCE)recently discovered that your electric service located at
636 ESTRELLA AVE. ARCADIA CA 91007 8116 is currently un-metered or is metered without an
approved inspection by your city or county. This notice is to make you aware that unmetered and/or
unapproved electric service is a violation of California Public Utilities Commission(CPUC)tariffs and
local ordinances put in place,in part, for public safety.
A meter must be installed and an appropriate city or county inspection must be obtained in order to
provide you with safe electrical service and an accurate billing of your usage. Our records indicate that a
fmal city or county electrical inspection of your premises has not been received. SCE is obligated to
follow rules established by the CPUC as well as by local ordinances.
Edison is unable to continue electrical service if an inspection is not received within 10 business
days of the delivery of this letter. If a final electrical inspection has already taken place,please have
the city or county notify SCE immediately so your service is not interrupted. Even if your service is
currently metered,if your city or county Building& Safety Department does not approve of your service
installation, SCE may be required to disconnect your electric service.
As an alternative to service disconnection,you or your electrician can make arrangements with SCE for
temporary,metered power until your service is restored to a condition that passes required inspection and
is metered with a permanent connection.
If your service is unmetered, SCE has the right to issue you an estimated bill until your service
installation is complete,inspected, and metered.
