You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303(a) from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the construction of a new single-family residence. B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 17-04 Project Description: The applicant is proposing a new 4,247 square-foot, two-story, Spanish-style residence with an attached two-car garage. Lot Size: 10,441 square feet Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 1,929 square feet New Building Size (excluding the garage): 4,247 square feet Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 4,247 square feet (41%) Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 4,676 square feet (45%) Comment Period: October 6, 2017 to October 20, 2017 by 4:30 PM Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to October 20, 2017. Under this process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter.
