property is proposing to build a new single-family residence that is subject to the City’s Single
Family Architectural Design Review process. You have the opportunity to comment on the
project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below:
A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15303(a) from the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA) for one single-family residence;
B. Single-Family Design Review No. SFADR No. 17-01
Project Description:
Lot Size: 7,500 square feet
Existing Building Size (excluding the garage): 1,160 square feet
New Building Size (existing the garage): 3,308 square feet
Floor Area Ratio Proposed: 3,368 square feet and 44.90%
Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 3,375 square feet and 45%
Comment Period: Tuesday, April 4, 2017 to Tuesday, April 18, 2017 by 5:30 PM
Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to April 19, 2017. Under this
process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who submit written comments on this project or request in
writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be filed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application
and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the
approval/denial letter. City Hall will be closed on Friday, April 14, 2017.
