You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City making a decision on the project described below: A. Categorical Exemption per Section 15301(e)(1) and 15305 from the California Environ- mental Quality Act (CEQA) for an addition to an existing structure and minor adjust- ments to the setback. B. Administrative Modification (Major) No. AM 16-20 and Administrative Design Review No. Admin. ADR No. 16-81 Project Description: A Modification to allow a side yard setback of approximately 5’-10” whereas 8’-2” is required for a one-story, 413 square foot addition at the rear of the one-story Ranch style home. Lot Size: 9,530 sf Building Size (excluding the garage): Existing - 1,959 sf; Proposed - 2,372 sf Maximum Floor Area Ratio Allowed: 4,187 sf Comment Period: December 22, 2016 to January 3, 2017 at 5:30 PM Persons wishing to comment on the project and/or environmental documents may do so by submitting written statements to Planning Services prior to January 5, 2017. Under this process, no formal hearing is required. A notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners who sub- mit written comments on this project or request in writing to be notified of the decision. An appeal of this administrative decision may be appealed within ten (10) days following the date of the decision with the required application and appeal fee. You may also visit the City’s website at www.ArcadiaCA.gov/noticesanddecisions to view this notice, the architectural plans related to this project, and the approval/denial letter.
