Subject: Notice of Pending Decision of Single Family Design
Review No. SFADR 14-108
Dear Neighbors:
The owner of the subject property is proposing a new two-story residence
that is subject to the City’s Single Family Architectural Design Review.
You have the opportunity to comment on the project prior to the City
making a decision. The plans as previously noticed have been revised to
reduce mass and increase landscape buffers.
Location: 1718 Mayflower Avenue
Project Description: A 4,326-square-foot, two-story, Spanish
Mediterranean style single-family residence, with a three garage parking
spaces totaling 721 square feet.
Categorically Exempt from CEQA per Section 15303.
Comment Period: May 3, 2016 – May 17, 2016 (5:30 PM).
Comments may be submitted in writing to Planning Services at Arcadia
City Hall at 240 West Huntington Drive, P.O. Box 60021, Arcadia, CA
91066-6021, or by fax to (626) 447-9173, or by email to
tli@ArcadiaCA.gov.
A decision will be reached no earlier than May 17, 2016 at 5:30 p.m.
Under this process, no formal hearing is scheduled on this application. A
notice of decision will be mailed to those residents and property owners
who submit written comments on this project or request in writing to be
notified of the decision. An appeal of the administrative decision may be
made by the applicant or any interested party within five (5) business
days following the date of the decision by submitting a letter of appeal
and paying the appeal fee.
